Stealth design: Special shape and radar-absorbing materials make it nearly invisible to radar.

Long range: Can fly more than 6,000 nautical miles without refueling, and over 10,000 with aerial refueling.


High-tech avionics: Advanced navigation and weapons systems.


Crew: Only 2 pilots

Can carry up to 40,000 pounds of weapons.


Capable of dropping nuclear bombs, JDAMs, and conventional bombs.

Around $2 billion per aircraft, making it one of the most expensive military planes ever.

Only 21 were built.
